Hi-
The San Diego Swim-in was much fun especially because I got to see some
people I haven't seen in a long time.
I received the following message after the outing and decided to share it
with the group:
My 11 yr old son and I just happened to pick Saturday to try canoeing at
Lake Murray- and what good luck that was! The canoeing rapidly became mostly
a way for us to get a good look at those cars in the water! We enjoyed
watching them very much, so much so that I went online to read about them
and found your name associated with the Lake Murray outing. Thanks to you
and all the other Amphicar drivers for providing great fun and entertainment
for us. We still chuckle about how in addition to "hang onto your paddle"
and "don't lean too far to one side" I had to add "watch for cars" to my
list of "Mom's rules for the first time canoeist"! We loved it.
