Looking for your advice and information. I have been bitten by the
Amphicar bug. I live near the water in New York City. There is a boat
ramp 1 block from my house. We are on the Long Island sound up the
Hudson river. I see in my research that most people use the cars in
Lakes and not in a salt water environment. With all the modern expoxy
paints etc or would they still rust apart? Am I wrong to think that
the car would be useable were I live? Can they handle river currents?
