The below link is to a very neat tool called FRAPPR. It lets participants plot their location on a map. So far, 54 members have registered. Makes it extremely easyto locate other amphibians.

Likewise google has another neat item that is very fun

earth.google.com

Download the software (now available for MAC) and you can get a
satelite image for any address. The pics from my house are clear
enough that my 6 year old recognizes the various neighborhood
landmarks.
