Rear wheel hub

Hi,
I pulled my rear wheel hubs doing the brakes at the rear and there was grease between the hub and driveshaft axle.
I was told by my German friends never to use grease at this place.
Because of the risk that al the force goes to the slot key instead off the slope axle.
What do you think about this ?

Use double lip seals. install Hub side with springs towards grease. axle u joint side springs toward U joints,, That will help. Never over grease,. Take drum off after greasing and make sure no grease came out that way.
I remove grease nipple when I know my customer takes car to normal shop for service,.
make sure there is no groves or pit marks on hub surface. If there is this can be machined down and a larger seal installed. Check hub for warpage.
