Dave,

Many years ago, I used Motorcycle fork Boots. Can't remember which ones. I
know that the first pair I tried had small vent holes that i hadn't noticed and
had to get different ones.

Any one come up with a better rubber boot for rear axles? So far the
best seems to be exhaust tube. Later Dave the Wave

Dave,

I use generic rack and pinion steering boots. The two ends are different sizes,
so I trim the small end back and that end goes on the transmission end of the
shaft. They are very tight so you will have to use some type of lube. They cost
like $4.

Dave, if you are talking about the small boots on the drive shafts (not the
large tunnel boots), then I used the steering rack boot from a VW Eurovan (VW
part number is 7D0-419-83, $12). This worked very well on one of my drive
shafts, but was too large for the other. I believe it was the older drive
shaft,
one without a grease fitting, that it fit.

I have one of these boots sitting on the shelf, and can measure it for you if
you want the dimensions. Also, this post has a few additional details:
