I've had dozens of cylinders rebuilt at this place.
When calling, ask for the shop.
Just tell them Ken Roy with the Amphicars sent you (they may remenber me).
They'll probably charge you $40-$50 each, but don't quote me on that.
They re-sleeve them in stanless steel, then put in al new rubbers.
I haven't had a problem yet.

Hi All,

Thanks to Ken for sharing the info. Just received my
rear brake cylinders back and am very pleased with the
result. They look great and the rubber components
appear to be of high quality and the correct type.
The stainless steel sleeving should provide
significant longevity over the original design. They
had them back to me very quickly and total cost was
$100.36 for the two of them.

Reviving an old, old thread.

Called them today. They still do it.
110.00 per cylinder now.
They reline shoes for 80.00 per axle.

They did my cylinders years ago, still going strong.

Shoes for Amphi utilized some unique waterproof mystery material. Not sure what a non-amphi specialist would use. Many people, myself included, get the shoes from Gord Souter.

Yes but without the sleeve you'll be changing them 3 times as much plus the hassle. I've used brake and equipment for years, they do great work on all kinds of weird stuff.
