Quarter Panels

I am in dire need of a set of Dave's quarter panels. I had Dave make me a short set of panels, but my body guy cut away a little more metal and found out the rust was much worse than I originally thought. Turns out I needed the full length panels after all.

Anyone have an unused set? Dave is out of town for the weekend and the restorer is (understandably) getting tired of my car sitting around his shop. Worst case I can always order a set and get them next week sometime, but sooner is better.

Thanks!

Peter,

If you don't plan on using the shorter quarter panels that you have I may be
interested in them. Our car has the raised lip on the quarter so if yours
are that style let me know. I can be reached at brad.kahler@141.com

Thanks,

Brad

Do you need the ones with the lip or the old style. I have a set of old style without the lip.

Peter,

Your quarter panels are the raised lip style. Unfortunately for me it looks
like yours are rusted in the same fashion as mine which means the ones you
currently have won't work on mine either as they would be to short. Dang!

Hi Peter

It looks like yours has the lip judging from the door and the wheel well. I know Dave makes these, maybe Gordons has them ? Good Luck

I'm not actually sure. I've never seen a side by side picture of the lip/no lip thing.

Can you tell from this:

I'm not actually sure. I've never seen a side by side picture of the lip/no lip thing.

I was going give you a link to a page I created a couple years ago that illustrates about 20 differences between early and late cars showing this lip too. It was placed on Bilgy's amphicar.NET site but it won't load. If it does for you look for my "Minnow" site and in there is the early/late page.

Has anyone talked to Bilgey to figure out what happened to his site? There was a ton of great content there.

Thanks for the answer on the quarters, everyone.
