Pre 1990 vehicles are being banned from the city of Calcutta unless converted to LPG or similar green fuel.
What's this to do with Amphicars ? Well there was an Amphicar that once sunk in Calcutta but more seriously this sort of ban has been talked about in Europe and maybe one day could happen in the US ! Already many petrol and diesel powered vehicles are banned from European lakes. In years to come the actions of the law makers mean we may have to look at alternative motors for Amphicar.
