Power Inverter

(I hope that this question hasn't already been asked, so here goes......)

Hugh Gordon is advertising a power inverter that enables you to install a
negative ground radio in your positive ground Amphi. How is this technically
possible?

I thought that the antenna being grounded to the body at the mounting point
would act as a direct short-circuit in such a situation. How does Hugh's
inverter get around this??

Enquiring minds REALLY want to know!

Thx,

Hi-

I have one of Hugh's power inverters in each of my cars and they are easy to
install and work fine.

I have the inverter hooked to the "always on" input so the memory circuits
of the radio stay on. Unless the car sits for weeks, the battery stays
charged. However, you have to remember to turn the radio off each time.
