i called a couple legit amphi sources specifically to get the correct torque, who ( i coulda sworn) told me 75 lb.

--destroyed new gordon imports m10x75 1.00 pitch bolt and castle nut at 52 lb

--destroyed grade 12.9 m10x90 coarse/heavy duty thread bolt & nut at 60lb

called john bevins who looked up more like 45lb - seems to makes more sense than 75

?: where is the correct spec shown?? - cant find in parts or maint manuals

According to my torque wrench: m10 standard thread 12.9 -> 83,44Nm = 61.53 ft lb

Be sure to use a nut of the same quality. We do not use castle nuts, because they have less loadable threads.

Agreed. I use aircraft quality (rated G12) and use a second nut for backing/locking
