Have you been degreasing your bilge in a "non-ventalated area" again
John?

While I thank you for your publicity on announing yet
another way cool Amphi auction of mine, I need to point out that you
are wrong.
While I assure you that our process involves more than
simply "Photoshopping" the car in the water, you are suprisingly
unfimiliar (at least by the implication of your post) with the hydro-
dynamic flow across the bow of the Amphicar.
I will tell you from experience on my amphi I have have to release
the throttle on numerous occasions because the wake was consistantly
breaking over my hood. The snub approach of the car combined with the
turbulant bumber makes for, well, one hell of a bow wake.
Bottom line, that is a true Amphicar splash bow to stern like it or
not. I will grant however that the animated gif image that I am using
to demonstrate the effect on Ebay has been dithered to 64 colors
giving it a rough appearance. The real product is sharp and clean.
This does not account for your odd suggestion of it being backwards.
Perhaps you can take a browse through the wonderful files and photos
section of the Yahoo message area to help refresh your mind and clear
it of those intoxicating bilge vapors.
