This has been mentioned before, but just want to add my endorsement of
the Pertronix ignition conversion. Installation took less than an hour
and my cold amphicar started immediately. I bought mine from Retro
Rockets in Connecticut. $78.00 and no shipping charge. I purchased item
no. LU-142AP12 which is for the standard Amphi Lucas ignition (positive
ground), but the safest thing to do is check the actual numbers on the
distributor.
