A bit like the movie.... 60000 miles is important here as traditionally it's when the manufacturers warranty ends. Both my modern cars are approaching it. The 4 year old Rav is at 57400, the almost3 year old Volvo XC is at 58600 butthe 40 year old Amphicar is ahead, just. Amphicar is today showing 59631. Will it get to 60000 first ?

It might, if we have some good weather through September as I'll continue to use Amphicar as my daily car - but in October we are taking the XC to France which will add 700 miles to it - and also the Rav might get a few miles on it as itis the only vehicle with a tow hitch and I might have some stuff to move.

Of course water miles don't register or Amphicar would be way ahead - it certainly deserves to get to 60000 first - will let you know if it does !
