Pennsylvania Amphicars

There are two ramps out this way into the Schuylkill.
One is a mile from my house near Collegeville. The
second is near Trooper just off of 422 (no jet skis
allowed). You can actually go down-river from there
to another ramp in Norristown. Where are the ramps in
Phila?

Any other PA based Amphi owners. Perhaps we can all
get together before end of Summer.

One ramp is at Linden av, very popular. Has picnic area.also. Other is in
Croyden @ Neshaminy boat yard. Public boat ramp at same spot. 75foot
channel best at high tide. Long boat ramp, but muddy at low tide. River
is low due to lack of decent rainfall. yours sounds ideal. Have busy
schedule next few weeks, moving some household things, not to far from
Billy Syx. Would be great if more would join in. How about it Pa owners
??? Billy had five of us several weeks ago. Will keep in touch. P.J.H.

Have been to center city with tall ships, gets very crowded with crazy's.

I am an Amphi enthusiast soon to be an owner I hope. I am in the area and
would love to attend a get together you have. I have family near King of
Prussia. Actually going to a car show this weekend near Aleentown in
Macungie. Sometimes there are some Amphicars there.

Although I live in Texas, I end up in the Harrisburg area quite often in
the near future (due to work) and if knew far enough in advance, I would
love to join in your native activities. I could always hope my schedule
might allow towing one out from home rather than flying all the time.

Re: Re: Pennsylvania Amphicars

Glad to have you aboard. Will try to set a date for a swim in. Present
schedule is busy right now at the wrong time, rather be boating. Will
give enough advance notice. Hell of a tow job from Texas !! Have spent 31
yrs on the road, know what it's like. Looking forward to visit. Pete
