Does anyone have any of the patent numbers issued to the Amphicar?

There was also a lot of stuff that was patented in Europe but I don't think that can be searched online. The people at Gibbs told me they were amazed at how much Trippel/Amphicar had patented.</font>

David - I found a site that you can search european patents
(www.european-patent-office.org) and having a patent myself (5299652),
I am aware of the USPTO site. While I found many of Hans' patents
(some dating to the mid 1980s), I did not find the Amphicar, the fly,
or the Alligator specifically. Gibbs and our own Dave March
(watercar.com) came up a few times as well.
