do not use anything but the proper AMPHICAR seal behind the water dive gear ***
The problem I have had with original replacement seals is they are too hard. I
have drive gears that are scored from this. I know Dave Chapman talked about
this before. I did get a trans in with a sealed bearing. This looks like a good
idea. The seal then would be doing a lot less. What does the German Club think?
Midwest Amphicar has had the proper replacement bearings and machine work done
years ago when parts were becoming not available. Later Dave the Wave
