Oil drain plug removal

Hi,

I have tried to remove the square oil drain plug but with no success. I have tried a 12 mm and 7/16' size socket but the result is that they both slip over.
Does anyone have a solution how to solve this problem or an alternative instrument?
Thanks, Robert

Use a 7/16", 8-point socket. Available at Sears or most any hardware or tool store.

Original drian plugs are a real$%^%^
After you get s scocket that will bite and remove it throw it away
replace with a brass, allen recieving, plug.
(I stock these) and they come in Mike,s kit from Montreal(No oil in bilage again!)
All my engine repairs get these,!
