Nutcase ?

Hi all, it has been a while for me but I just could not resist.

Ed, My brothers street rod has a digital dash he followed me for 11 miles
home from the car show at a steady 71MPH and I will do it again. But after that
if you stop at the store your friggen car just may vapor lock.
The question: is it any good to be a nutcase if you don't act like a nutcase
sometimes?

There are obviously a number of us who are part of the lunatic fringe and
proud of it. I try to live life to the fullest and make no apologies. My
number one aim is to try to live by the Golden Rule, but right after that comes
my
aim to live life to the fullest. One never knows just how long that may be -
witness Craig's wonderful contribution about Ora in Alaska. The Captain's wife
with whom I sailed around the world just celebrated her 94th birthday and
less than a year ago, she proudly flew to San Pedro, California to dedicate two
new "Tall ships" named after her and her deceised husband who passed away at
86. Another friend will be 103 on January 3rd. Both of these individuals have
been doing quite well mentally until the last few months, when they are showing
significant signs of slipping. The man who is now 102 only started using a
walker this past year. My oldest patient died just short of 105 and used to be
brought in by her 82 year old son. I sent her to two different specialists and
she set records in their offices too. One just never knows. As long as you have
your health and your faculties, you should be counting your blessings.
Following this theme, Carol and I will be in Kitty Hawk on December 17th for the
recreation (weather permitting) of the Wright Brothers first flight.
