Welcome Aboard Alex!
I will try to answer your many questions excerpted below as well as I can.
"...I am looking for better parts than what I had, for example, When I
bought the Amphicar there was a complete brand new inside panel set be
delivered as spare. But the colour is red, and I want the Amphicar back in
the original colour green. I will swap the panel set for a set in
apricot-lightgrey."
I believe that Amphicar Parts King Hugh Gordon recently had these interior
apricot/ivory panels available as one of his monthly specials. For present
cost and availability, you should contact Hugh directly. Since you are half
way around the world from Southern California, a fax might be the most
practical way to contact him, but below is the whole address...Hugh's not a
big email yet.

"...I need also two headlamp buckets with adjusting rings, glass holding
ring and rim. Maybe someone can tell me of there are universal parts from
other cars can be used.(I have the universal parts listing)."
There was once a posting on this Amphicar-Lovers List about an unspecified
model of Buick headlight rim being a close match, including the drain hole,
but there was no mention of the buckets. It is possible that the whole
headlight assembly may have been specially designed and manufactured for
Amphicars, or it might have been the same assembly used on a dozen different
types of 1960s european cars. I would suggest contacting the Amphicar Club
Berlin e.V. (The German Amphicar Club) to ask if they know of any
substitutions from marques that simply we do not see over here in America,
like Borgward, Hanomag, DKW and so on. The German Club would certainly have
a far better idea of what you should be looking for in a european junk yard.
Their home page is at
http://www.amphicar.net/Germany.
"...I need also a rear seat and rear seat back-rest (in apricot-lightgrey)"
See Gordon's address above.
"...a hand throttle knob"
This is on special sale this month from Gordon...new remanufactured handles
for less than $20.
"...Exhaust silencer"
Hmmmm...ENGLISH English...Over here in the USA we call a "silencer" a
"muffler". A muffler for a Volkswagen Type 1 1600cc with fuel injection
(Part #VW0545?) is supposed to work. Of course, Gordon sells these too AND
the adaptor to make it all fit nicely.
"...cover for hood and hood (black)."
We call a "hood" a "top" or a "convertible top". A "hood" for us in the USA
is what the green and red navigation light is sitting on--what David Chapman
in the UK calls a "bonnet". For us a "bonnet" is a frilly woman's hat. And
if you're a smoker and decide to come to the Celina Convention in July, I
would strongly suggest that you DO NOT ask the Customs officer at the
airport in Dayton, "Is this going to take much longer? I just want to get
out there and have a fag!". Unlike the UK, here in the USA a "fag" is not a
Marlboro a Dunhill or whatever you smoke...Rather it is someone often
inordinately fond of show tunes who has a little TOO much good taste,
dresses a little TOO nicely...maybe wears a bonnet occasionally. Think:
Village People.
"...Maybe someone can tell me the number from the colour green."
The Ditzler Paint Code for "Fjord Green" (d.h. Fjord Gr?n auf Deutsch) is
still 43785. This Ditzler code is usually be cross-referenced in the
handbooks of other paint manufacturers like PGP and so on. David Chapman
has a web page with Additional Amphicar color info at
http://www.amphicars.com.
"...Our Amphibian club "Les Amis de Amphibie" is this year in France and
next year in Holland.
Visitors from the meetings are sailing with Ford GPA's, Amphicars, Dukw's,
Weasel's, Gaz,
Amphi ranger's, Dutton's, Argo's and schwimmwagens.Look at (

C'est magnifique! Let me know when you have your club meetings and I'll
announce them in the International Amphicar Owners Club "Events Calendar" at
http://www.amphicar.com/calendar.htm.
