<font FACE="arial,helvetica"><font SIZE="2">Hello,

I have been reading the list and enjoying it very much. I am looking to
purchase an Amphicar soon. I have always been a fan of them. I am from New
Jersey. Close to Mays Landing where I heard East Coast Amphicar is. In any
event I was at Sweetwater Casino Restaurant on the Mullica River the other
day, and they said there is a gentleman and his Amphicar that are on weekends
and usually give people rides. I thought perhaps it was Billy from East
Coast Amphicar but wasn't sure. They said it was a turquoise color Amphicar
and the man has a beard. In any event I am going to try to get there this
weekend and see. I was wondering if it was someone on the list. I would
love to meet someone from this area and talk Amphicars. I am on the jersey
shore about 25 miles north of Atlantic City.

In response to the posting below, that's Billy Syx of East Coast Amphicar
that you're talking about alright. For information about Billy's repair and
restoration services, or to get in touch with Billy personally, you should
visit the ECA website at:

(who incidentally couldn't be happier with the short notice TLC that ECA
just lavished on his own Amphi in record time, as in: "My God!...I have REAL
BRAKES!...My cigarette lighter WORKS!...I have a door with a LOCK!...My nerf
bars don't WOBBLE!...My ignition switch no longer smells of VAPORIZED RODENT
URINE!)

WOW, I finally got in!!!! It's been so long.

Gary, I am Billy's wife. It is he who does the Sweetwater thing, yes.
He was there yesterday. It's a hit or miss thing as to whether he'll
be there or not, depends on what's happening in our lives.

If you want to go out sometime give us a call at 609-625-1015 Billy
loves taking people out. Also, just by happenstance, (this is very
unusual) we have a really nice car hear for sale. The price is
$16,500 firm, but it's worth every penny of the asking price. It's
red and is in really good condition and drives and swims. We've had
it out a bunch. Again, give Billy a call if you're interested. It's
a really nice car. We'll even let you drive and swim it if you come
over!

Take care,
Randy
