GREETINGS!
I'm not an Amphicar owner, just another of the world's
eccentrics. I've long admired the way the Amphicar
and DUKW can drive into the water, bypassing the long
ferry lines and floating-bridge traffic jams (as we
have here in Puget Sound region). I'm looking for
technical details, with an eye to converting my
favorite Japanese car to webfoot. I'd like to inspect
an Amphicar in the Pacific Northwest, and would
appreciate hearing from any owners in the area who
would allow.
