Also, the body doesn't allow for smooth hydraulic flow into the props.
There's going to be a lot of energy wasted in that turbulent flow, and
probably a lot of bubbly wake. OTOH, some amphibians have used only the
ridges on their spinning tires, so even this lousy design will still push
you slowly across a pond.
