100 degrees today here in Yuma but otherwise, a really "kewl" day for me. My second Amphi arrived in perfect condition after 7 days on the road from Minnesota. This is 100289 and after discussing this car with several members and researching occasional internet Amphi references, I believe it has passed through several hands over the past few years. All in all, it is in pretty good shape especially compared to the condition of the first one I bought. As I may have mentioned before, I have a special project in mind for this car that I'll be writing about in the coming months. Meanwhile, I'm already pondering some mysteries about this one. It has an old AM radio (dead) but no radio antenna or hole where one would have been placed. No spare tire or jack either and seems that it hasn't had one at least since a 2002 major restoration. Anyone have them? The temp indication is dead, hmmmm, just like the first one, there seems to be some bad kharma between me and Amphi temp gages (and brakes). No blinkers either but all easily fixed. Right now I'm all agog with whirrling thoughts of the possibilities. Anyway, here's a pic of its arrival. John F., my amigo!...get ready for the usual barrage of questions!
