Hi all.
Whats planned for Mount Dorra on Sunday? I'm thinking of renting a car
in Houston for a day or two and heading that way. Leaving Houston late
Saturday and heading back on Monday. Any thoughts? How long a drive is
it?

Hi Craig, If you want to get from Huston to Mount Dora it could take 16 hours
each way to drive. Try Southwest airlines on the Internet for the lowest
rates. Form Huston Hobby (HOU) or Huston Intercontinental (IAH) to Orlando
(MCO) they will have some $79 rates each way. I will have three cars at Mount
Dora if all goes well so we can swim a bunch if you can make it. It's spring
in Florida so we will swim at night both Friday and Saturday. Sunday will be
the weakest day, some of the upnorth guys will take off early. Tommy in Tampa

Craig, It's about a 1 hour drive to the North West, because it's so close to
Orlando and it's a holiday area there might even be a shuttle bus service -
maybe tied in with a hotel. There is visitor centre with info according to the
website www.mountdora.com
