More on Steering Brackets

[Mike Israel]

Hi All,

To date I have had approximately a dozen folks express
interest in the steering box support bracket I
discussed earlier. Here are some updates and answers
to questions.

1) The bracket mounts to the existing bolts on the
box itself. The other side would require a simple
weld to the metal by the wheel well. Nothing complex,
any body shop or weld shop should be able to do it in
a minute or two.

2) Rob V. is going to check on pricing based on a
volume of producing 20 units. Will get back to you
when we know.

3) Rob is going to provide photos of the bracket, I
will post them as soon as I receive them.

4) No, I have not yet installed my own bracket. I
saw the one on Rob's car at Celina and was impressed
enough that I asked him if he could have one made for
my own Amphi. Rob then suggested that we ping other
Amphi owners as we then might procure a volume
discount. Rob previoulsy provided a bracket to Mark
Schlemmer, perhaps he can provide further comment.

If all goes as planned, we can begin ordering them in
a week or two.
