Has the Monday night chat site www.geocities.com/soho/8389/chat.html
been deleted or moved to new areas? We along with others are unable
to get this area to load.
Does anyone have any information on this?

It looks like the free service provider for that chat room program,
xoom.com, may have joined the legion of other failed "dot bombs". Now even
a search of their home site redirects to the MSNBC home page, so I guess
Micro$oft must have gobbled up the remains.
I'm on vacation right now, but I'll rig up some alternative link and service
from the Club site when I've returned in a week or two. In the meantime,
you can chat through this List's very own chat program at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/amphicar-lovers/chat . Unlike the earlier
totally fuss-free offering, it requires your signing in and installing of
some "chat ware", but you're already registered for it anyhow if you're
reading this message.
Like I said tho, I'll try to rig up something more elegant and simple soon.
