Just not the same here without you but we shall try to
carry on in the finest traditions which you have
established over many years at Celina!
Have not heard the final numbers but looks like a
fairly good turn out. The folks of Celina continue to
provide an amazingly warm reception. At the
fairgorunds, I was chatting with a Celina police
officer who was telling me how much they appreciate
our coming every year. She said it it is something
everyone in town talks about for weeks before the big
swim-in.
Very positive buzz about the tech sessions and tech
chat. The hot-hole launch was this evening and Roger
S. was kind enough to let me ride shot-gun . Due to
pending surgery, my Amphi sat through the evening on
her trailer. :-( Dave suggests that I should take
her over to the car show as-is with a sign saying,
"For Sale $45k". Hey, I'll settle for $35k as-is!
Weather is great and I am sure other reports will
follow. I will also send some photos along later.
Tomorrow is the car show and lots of parts for sale.
I'll be skipping the dinner as I forgot to preregister
for this years event (Duh!!). But yes, it looks like
yourself and the other new board members have put on a
great show.
See you next year! I am sure your "cuties" will miss
you tomorrow!
