<font color="#000000" face="Arial" size="2">Our ambassador Ray Handloser is at one of the biggest car shows in the state representing the Amphicar. This is a huge event in the car capitol of the world, (and the biggest traffic jam imaginable). Hats off to him for making the effort without a lake nearby! This car show is a direct result of drag racing down the streets of Detroit during the days that muscle cars ruled the night on the streets of Detroit in the sixties. Media coverage saturates the airwaves with visions of burning rubber and gray hair as baby boomers re-live the glory of yesterday by cruising down the paved streetsof mo-town in expensive restored machines. I wish I could be there to see and smell it. </font>

I think the reason for the lack of response is the result of the few people at any one time who are restoring a car. I found this to be true when I was doing mine and needed to know what color wire went to whatever. This was of course before Al Gore created the internet for us. I mostly have lamp cords and speaker wire keeping my bilge pump alive as a result. Thanks.</font>
