Locus coils

On which side of the coil (positive or negative) should the thin wire from
the distributor (points) be connected? This is for a positive ground amphi
with original style ignition (points, condensor, etc).

On early British coils they used
SW to identify the negative -
and CB to identify the positive +

Also on Amphicars there will be a double connector on the SW side.(connect
to key switch)
and only 1 connector on the coil side CB

I have now rewired so many Amphicars that I no longer need to even look at
the wiring diagram
but it is till a tough and mindbogling job as many wires have very similar
colours.
