Jim Nichols "death car" update.

[Cameron in UK]

A long time ago my dad warned me about fooling around on Amphicar in a big lake "because of what happened to Jim Nichols in the 1980s"

I've been researching that and found an amazing update to the story which also explains what happened to his Amphicars.

Timing is out.. and poor gas!
Move the Dist. back a bit away from the generator-towards the fire wall.(loosen 7/16 bolt on side of Dist)
Use Supper gasoline, and add a lead subsitute.

You guys should learn what a "thread" is.

I think Bill "bilgemaster" Connelly bought the original Jim Nichols blue amphi. The story makes it sound like the cars were still there.

Seems like a perfectly normal amphicar owner. Was he a member of the club?
