Hi all, The trip to and from Celina was wild. It was like a 70 mph car show
for those of us who took Amphi on an open trailer. Almost every stop had
someone follow us off the road to ask the standard Amphi questions. I told
them all to check out Amphicar.com So, what if we printed some club
sponsored <amphicar.com> bumper stickers. Large easy to read from another car
going 70 while passing your car. We all understand Amphicars don't lend
themselves to bumper stickers the idea is to apply them to your trailer. What
a nice useful gift from the club to its members. Who's to say they may guide
some lost sole to there Amphi destiny. Comments please. Tommy in Tampa

Good idea. I also recall that the "old" club had some
nice window stickers (mine eventually died). Perhaps
include amphicar.com on those as well if they are ever
reprinted.

Speaking of car shows, went to a "normal" one this
weekend. Amphi was like a celebrity, literally
surrounded the entire event. On a down note, it does
seem that car show swap meets are dying away. As I
heard someone at Hershey say a few years ago, "all of
the good stuff is on Ebay".

I know what you mean! While on the way back we had one guy who
followed us for 115 miles! I have since dubbed them as "barnacles".
