Tommy and Lynne,
Sounds like you two need to become members of the International Amphicar
Owners Club! Our Jan/Feb 2001 newsletter just came out with 4 (yes, 4!)
events scheduled for the summer....and more will follow! Mr. Bill Connelly
will be getting these posted on the Club's webpage at www.amphicar.com soon,
but the newsletter and the Club is THE SOURCE for what's going on in the
Amphicar world!

Celina, Ohio is scheduled for July 27-29. Last year 40 Amphicars made this
event one to remember and a MUST for the traveling Amphi.

Mt. Dora, Florida is March 23-25. Dave and Greg Monier are putting together
this 4th annual event...and they are certainly accommodating hosts. They
really take care of the Amphicar crew!

---------
Anyone else who isn't a member of the newly re-organized Club should really
consider joining, too. Besides the Schedule of Events, our bi-monthly
newsletter has Classifieds, Tech Center, Member Spotlight and other
features. Even a regular column from one of our members entitled
"Amphipoda's Perspective" (if you're on this Digest, you know who Amphipoda
is!)

We've really taken a good look at the Club and have created more structure
then it has ever had. All decisions are made by a 7 member Board....all
great Amphicar people....and we even have put together Club Bylaws, really
giving the Club and it's officers accountability to the members. These can
be downloaded from visiting our web page at www.amphicar.com and following
the "Join the Club" link.

Speaking of the web page....the Bilgemaster has continued to improve the
page. If you haven't been there in a while, give it a look. He's done a
great job. One thing you might want to take a peak at is the "Club Members"
link. We've got 49 Members cars shown there....What great fun to look at
all those cars and friends from the Club.....

Membership dues are reasonable at $25 for US/Canada/Mexico and $30 for all
others. Stop by, and consider joining the biggest collection of Amphicar
lovers in the world!

Hi, Have been trying to find the article on the resin Amphicar model.
Can't remember where I saw it. Enlighten me if you can. Hope to make a
show this year, Thanks. Pete Haslinger

My guess is that you might be referring to Paul Senior's recent notice on
the Amphicar-Lovers List, found in the List Archives at
http://www.escribe.com/automotive/amphicar/m2807.html.

In case this isn't the item you are seeking, you can perform keyword
searches of the Archive for "model" or "resin" or any other term at
http://www.escribe.com/automotive/amphicar/search.html.

With Regards,
~Bilgemaster~
