Hi!

We checked out Hagerty's for coverage, but we can't use them because we
don't have enough cars less than 20 years old for the number of licensed
drivers we have. We have checked out Grundy Worldwide and they said they
could cover us for around $200/yr including liability, comp/coll. Has
anyone heard anything good/bad about them?

I once inquired w/Grundy for Amphi insurance and they were at best very rude to
me. I hope they treated you better.
Grundy stated they will not cover Amphi while in the water.

Hagerty seems to be preferred at land OR sa, so long as one has a garage,
which I (unfortunately) don't.

Hi,
I just use State Farm. I have 6 cars including 2 Amphicars. State
Farm has alway been straight with me and I can get all kinds of
coverage, including full use, limited (classic) use and stated value.
So far I haven't had to make a claim on an Amphicar but on other
cars, they have been very fair with me. I pay about $200/year for
$45,000 stated coverage with limited (2000 mile) usage, in Southern
California.
