A few folks have recently mentioned being overwhelmed
by the voume of e-mail on the Amphicar list. Please
note that e-mails may be received in one of three
formats:
1) Daily Digest. This is the default when you first
subscribe. Digest subscribers will receive a single
e-mail each day containing all messages posted that
day.
2) Individual E-mails. As each message is posted to
the list a copy will be sent to your e-mail address.
This is the most timely but also creates the lagest
number of individual e-mail messages.
3) Web Only. This option requires a user to log onto
the Yahoo Groups site where you can then read and
reply to messages. Nothing is actually sent to your
mailbox.
You may change your settings on your own at any time.
Simply connect to:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/amphicar-lovers
One fluke of YahooGroups to be aware of is that just
because you are subscribed to the list, you do not
automatically have a Yahoo Groups account. There is
no cost for such an account but you may need to sign
up. This gives you access to extended features
including archives, on-line polls, shared file areas,
etc..
If you wish to unsubscribe from the list just follow
the instructions found at the bottom of every singel
message.
FYI, the amphicar list now has 208 members. It was
not all that long ago that the issue was one of too
few e-mail messages.
