I have spent a few hours doing this so I expect your help too.

Please go over the Amphicar registry (Members Only) and look up your
car(s) V.I.N. number(s). This needs to include any Amphicar you now
own or have ever owned no matter what condition. If it has been
scrapped, please let me know that too. If it's incorrect, send me the
correction. If it's not there, LET ME KNOW!

I also have an Aqua 1967. My serial umber is 106 523 523. I have wondered if it was simply an error that the 523 was shown twice in a row, but seeing your serial number, I guess that my number is just chance and is correct. It will be interesting to me to see the serial numbers of other 1967's. Vic Nelson with the "Split Personality" near Daytona

Will be here till May. My car was originally green and was painted white. I plan to go to Mount Dora for the boat show. Always see Amphies there. Maybe see you some time. Ray Prophet

Peter,

Can you send me a photo of your Amphi? I need to know it's original
color too if it's been changed.

What make/model vehicle is it? You can contact the respective club and
see if there is a registry for it. Except for ours, there are almost
always at least one person who has the information and will gladly
share it, quite often free or for a few bucks. It's good info to have
if for no reason other than curiosity.

That is why I set up the registry with the help of you folks. We need
to get more to dig through thier records and add to it! Another thanks
for those who have contributed! I have over 400 cars listed so far
from looking at VIN tags myself, scouring the internet for VINs and
even enlarging VIN tag photos to get the info. There is a lot more out
there, so with your help we can at least have a little info available.
