Hello,

I'm also looking for a tire jack and correct handle that are in good condition. Too bad I didn't know I would need them a couple of months ago when some were sold on Ebay. Anyway, somebody have such things? Perhaps you Gord?

Larry,

No, I didn't get a third car but I gave a ride to a family a couple of years ago and he ran out and bought a car. He decided he wanted me to do the upgrades that I've done to my cars, big engine, ground conversion, tach, depth sounder, AM/FM stereo, etc., and freshen his car up a bit. I'm also adding a steering box brace, new hoses and a bunch more.

Larry,

I was really nervous about the prospect at first but found his love for my cars to be flattering. The difficult thing was trying to figure out how much time it would take to do all the things I did to my cars since I spent endless hours figuring out what works and what doesn't and I'm not really set up to do this stuff in an very efficient way, the way someone in the business does. It took me 3 months to find a suitable engine for the project but I finally found a good one and it turned out to be practically outside the owners back door. People who know me all know that the I don't do things half way and the cars owner seems to appreciate that. He'd really like me to do a complete cosmetic restoration too but I'm going to do all my basic upgrades first and see how the time and money are doing. Now that I'm into the project the nervousness has passed and it's a large, fun project. His car is a red 67 that was pretty well maintained but not restored except for the rear quarters and exterior paint. I wish my cars were in anywhere near as good a shape as this one is when I bought them.
