Greetings all,
I was finally able to attend my first "swim in" thanks to Dave,
Margie and Ken Roy who invited me along. I was really taken back by
seeing so many Amphicars in one place. It was a real pleasure to
meet all that attended. Several of which was part of the bulk
windsheild purchase.
Yes, I was inspired by the expierience to get home and continue
putting my Amphicar back together. Tonight I installed the flywheel,
oil pump, oil pan, assembled and installed the head and breather
tube. Tomorrow a new clutch assembly arrives from Gordon's and that
will keep me going.
One thing I noticed at this meet was when someone breaks down, it
was great to see other owners swarm in to offer a hand or advise. I
saw this with Ken's coil and Joe Capone's brakes. It tells me alot
about the club and certainly alot about it's members.
Thanks to all. I had an awsome time!
