I have a dream that one day this nation will
rise up and live out the true meaning of its gills:
"We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all
amphibians are created equal." I have a dream
that one day on the outer banks of every lake,
stream and river we will sit down together at a
table of Amphihood. I have a dream that one
day even the state of California, a desert state,
sweltering in the heat of water shortages and
power outages, will be transformed into an oasis
for Amphicars and Amphi owners. I have a dream
that my neighbors children will one day live in a
nation where they will not be judged by the color
of their fins but by the content of their bilge.
I have a dream today.
When we let Amphicars splash, when we let
them splash into every lake, stream, and every
river, in every state and every city, we will be
able to speed up that day when all of Amphi's
children, blue, green, red, yellowm and white,
will be able to join fins and sing the words of
the old amphibian spiritual, "Swimming at last!
Swimming at last! Thank God Almighty,
we are swimming at last!"
