I don't go anywhere until I am sure that my "hood" is latched. I guess I
do not know why so many posts have been devoted to this subject. Latch
your hood!

Humm, what does the red label on your dash say?

-- Put Bilge plug in
-> SECURE FRONT LUGGAGE DECK <---
-- Use lower locks to secure door

ALWAYS lock the trunk lid!! I leave my engine cover unlocked, but
the trunk is foolish to leave unlocked on purpose. The hood flew up
on my truck last week (Thanks Jiffy lube!) but my Amphi is always
locked. Like Dave, I leave my key in the hood when it not latched. I
also sometimes use the key to prop up the hood (placed between the
hood and top of the small lip in the center of the nose) during
storage for air flow.
