It is amazing how many people(including me) will buy a amphicar, then before
long are looking for more and more! Many members have 2, then there is Dave
in NH that had around 50
They really get to you,and of coarse now are a good investment,, I call mine
my retirement package. There are not to many collector cars out there you
can buy, restore and have a retail value higher than the lump sum of money
you put in them.
My first car that I restored(HMM)cost a total of $5000.00 and that included
the purchase of it a 4 others.I had to keep that High astronomical amount
secret from my wife.
Some of my friends thought I would loose interest after 10 years but as you
all know I am still nuts over these cars.
Taking the Dan A car to be sand blasted etc today.
Hope to have it done by Cellina.(between customers).I just started it last
Sunday.
Take a look at my Amphicar web site(www.amphicar.ca)
For those of you that were at the Orillia swim in(last week of June)
the car that was was tailored in is now done,, A early Blue is back on the
road(SNOW)
