Happy to be Garaged

I lived in Lusby, MD in the early 90's and we had that historic ice storm. 18 days without power but still commuted daily to Alexandria, VA via Route 4. Some days had to drop my wife off in SE (8th & I Sts.) enroute to VA. There is miserable and then there is MISERABLE, which the latter applied. Hope the power stays on. - azpaul50

Yes, the storm has struck the northeast. I posted a photo taken 10 a.m. this morning (19 Dec) with the bulk of the storm yet to come. I live in Gaithersburg, MD, about 20 miles north of Washington, DC.

No power problems yet. At 4:30 pm we're at 16.5 inches with another 6
inches expected. Worst single Dec snow in DC area. I grew up in
Connecticut but went to U of A in Tucson. I was hating winters way
back in the late 60's. Where are you located?
