am sure Biglemaster could interpret

Agreed. Amphipoda is the surely our web toed poet laureate, the one most
suited to the task of ackowledging on our behalf this great man's passing--a
man whose lifelong vocation has so touched all of our lives.

And I will attempt my own poor translation into my rough German of any
eulogy that Amphipoda may pen with the understanding that "poetry is that
which is lost in translation".

First... a heart felt "Thank You" to Hans for his contributions to
the Amphicar (and the demise of my bank account)! I, like so many
others will forever be stricken with this terminal affliction
of "Amphi-itis" or the "Trippel" syndrome. ;^)

Secondly ... Another "Thank You" to Rene for his generosity and a
wealth of amphibious information.

And thirdly... AYE AYE!
