Das Boot was idling kinda rough, so after exhausting all the other
possibilities,
I decided to open up the carbie. Found a clogged main jet (again...makes me
wonder if I need another filter, or if some unseen gunk is just breaking loose
in
the carb). Anyway, in re-assembling, the two back screws stripped out. Rather
than make a bid deal out of drilling and tapping, I just stripped back some
multi
strand wire, broke a few strands off, stuck them in the screw hole, and put the
screws back in. Voila...the screw are holding nice and tight, and DB is purring
again.

Just in time too...apparently I am giving boat rides this weekend at my
daughter's party. If you are at Lake Arlington Saturday afternoon..look for me!
