Haggerty insurance

We had a nice chat with the gal from Haggerty at Mt Dora. We have Molly
insured with them. We have the classic coverage as well as a second
Water Policy through the watercraft division. It's VERY affordable.
They won't do our corvettes because they are too new. But they know we
drive and trailer our Amphi all over. Never had a claim - thank
goodness - but great people to work with. Gloria in Michigan

Do you have in writing that State Farm will cover an Amphi while it is in the water? I sure hope so.

With Haggerty I just tell them what the car is worth and send a hard copy photo or a photo can be emailed on line to them at a special web site. They are always very nice on the phone and it sounds like Mike has had good experience too. Chuck in MI</font>

Hi Chuck,

I have no problem with Haggerty. It sounds like a good company.
I was in the office of my (seasoned) State Farm agent when he called
the underwriters to verify the coverage for both land and water. He
was specifically told that it would be covered under all
circumstances. I didn't ask to get it in writing but I've been with
them for years and am comfortable with that. As I recall the agent
told me they'd simply view a claim as though you drove your car into
the water.
