Gotta love Colorado!

Sunday, I went to go for a swim with Mark Barnes in his nice
Ivory '67. I had a great time! Thanks again Mark! I brought my nephew
and a couple of his friends who did not believe that these cars
existed. Now that they have all been in one, there are no doubts
left!

It was a nice sunny 72 deg. day at least until the afternoon came. At
about 3PM or so I headed home. On the way home and within a stretch
of about 10 miles the temp dropped about 25+ deg. By the time I got
home at 5PM it was 31 degress! So a drop of over 40 degrees in 4
hours. Then the 40+ mph (sustained) and 70+ mph wind gusts and snow
started. Yes folks that qualifies as a blizzard, albeit a short lived
one. There is about 3" - 4" of snow here on the grass. Suppose to be
in the 70s again by this afternoon or tomorrow. I love Colorado! :=)

We have set the date! The Amphicar extraordinaire will be squirted
Ivory Thursday!!!

A gentleman & a scholar! (Cap'n John that is) Sure was nice sailing with
someone that knows more about amphicars than you do!. He answered all
the questions time after time of what, when, where & how fast! What a
nice guy! He even brought his young nephew & friends for the fun!
I was enjoying myself so much, I didn't even correct him when he said
it was a 67 instead of a 66!. "Turn them upside down & they all look the
same" right? It is true, Amphi people are different than the rest!!
