Hello,
Ss I mentioned before, we and our Amphicars have been invited to the Classic
Speedboat Show at the Center for Wooden Boats in Seattle. If you'd like to
show your car and see other classic cars, motorcycles and boats, then please
join us. More information about the show is here:
http://www.acbs-pnw.org/index.html
The Show is at the south end of Lake Union at the Center for Wooden Boats.
If you are bringing an Amphicar, they would appreciate it if you get there
around 9:00 am on Saturday, July 17. This way they can get us parked before the
show opens at 10:00. If you can't make it this early, then you might want to
come by water.
If you come by land, the instructions are:
Take I-5 to the Mercer St. Exit just north of downtown Seattle.
At the bottom of the exit, turn right onto Fairview Ave N.
Go one block north and turn left onto Valley St.
Go two blocks west and turn right onto Terry Ave. N (there's supposed to be a
big arch on Terry).
Terry Ave. will take you right into the show. Just drive up terry until you
find someone that tells you where to park. At least that's the way it is
supposed to work.

I will bring my car by water. If you come by water, the closest ramp is near
Gasworks Park on the north side of the lake. This is the same ramp we launch
at for the Opening Day parade. If you need instructions to find this ramp,
please call me.
Once on the water, head toward downtown Seattle -- to the far south end of
the lake (this is NOT the direction we go for the Opening day parade). It's
about a 20-30 min. swim (2 miles) from the ramp to the Wooden Boat Center. If
you come by water, you might want to bring boat fenders and lines so you can tie
up to the dock. There really isn't anywhere to beach your car there.
If you have any questions, feel free to call me.
