Hi everybody!
Yesterday we had our election meeting of the Amphicar Club Berlin. It was a
clear vote for next years big Amphicar event at Lake Garda in Italy, so I am
pleased to confirm that date 18th to 20th of May, 2002. In return to our
great time you gave us in Celina we would like to invite you to this event.
Just some of our members feel pity not to be able to show you German culture
then, because Lake Garda is located in Italy. But however we do not have
such nice water in Germany like the Lake Garda including good weather
warranty! And you may be not too sad about swapping Sauerkraut and pouring
rain against Pizza and hot sun. So please join us in Italy, we promise to
bring German beer!
Because it is quite a long distance for us to go there, most of us will stay
for their holidays, between 1 and 3 weeks around this date.
As usual the event will take place at a campside near the lakes beach. But
there are many hotels around as well, so it should not be a big problem to
find rooms for you. The actual place is not confirmed yet and that may take
some time, because we are depending on friends in Italy to find a nice
location and do the reservations. However it would be a good idea to make up
your mind soon, so we know how many of you would like to join us and need
rooms.
