Gator thoughts

Oh I don't know, I think up to a 100 pounds would do OK on mine, what's another dent one way or another, but I got a good hood.

These days, I'm thinking Ducks, as in DUKW's--- anybody out there in Amphiland know of one for sale, sitting in a warehouse since WW11 maybe-----well, it is xmas, doesn't hurt to ask.

Yep--that's the one, that way you can take everybody for a ride, not just a few, plus if anyone gets on the hood it won't get any dents!!!

Soooo, does your neighbor have one they want to get rid of??

Hello All: There is a guy that lives 15 miles from me that has a DUKW behind
his garage, Its been there for the past 10 years that i know of. I stopped
one day and took a real good look at it, And it is in real good shape. It
still has the original 6 cylinder in it. I stopped back 3-times to see what
he has in mind for it, But he was not home everytime. If you are realy
interested i will stop over his house after the Holidays and see if he wants
to sell it.

I think seeing a bright yellow jeep drive in to a lake then take off
would bring a smile to any bodys face, especially the drivers. And I am
sure not too many Amphi owners would allow a bikini babe to sit on their
perfect steel Amphicar hood. Dave Chapman also mentioned on the Dutton
there really is no reverse. I hope the builders out there keep doing
there thing. I know I am ready for a late model Amphibian. Later Dave
