Fuse Question

Greetings All,
I can't seem to locate any info on the proper amps for each fuse slot. I want to
confirm that the fuses installed are the correct amperage. The parts manual
shows one 8 amp fuse in the illustration and the wiring diagram wasn't any help.
Does anyone know where a guy could get this info?

Many thanks!

Brian,

I think that all the fuses in the fuse block are 8 amp type. I don't
think there are any exceptions anywhere in the car.

Brian,

John is correct, they are all 8A fuses. They can be identified by
the color. The 8A euorpean type fuses (pointed ends) are white in
color.

Use some 000 steel wool to clean the contacts in the fuse block.
This will help keep future problems with corrosion to a minimun.

JB and John,
Thanks for the info however I question the use of all 8 amp fuses. I
have never seen an automobile where the fuses were all the same in
amperage. I have three fuse colors in the car now. White, red and I
think blue. Granted, this could be incorrect and it would be nice if
they were all 8 amp but it just doesn't seem proper.

I'll throw in all 8's mainly because of the parts book illustration,
the lack of additional printed information on the subject and
because of your input.
Good advise on the steel wool JB.

Thanks guy's!
