Fuel line connectors

I have a gas leak at the point the fuel line connects to the carb. I suspect the connection has been squashed a few too many times. I would like to replace the carb end connector on the fuel line.

Hugh Gordon does not have this part and my local auto parts and specialty fastener shop haven't been much help either. Can someone please tell me what size threads are used in the carb; and does anyone know where I can get a replacement fuel line connector?

Thanks for helping.

I had this same problem. put some teflon tape on the threads (about 3 wraps).
Not a drip in years.

Thanks for the suggestion; seemed like a good idea, andI tried that technique a few days ago. Unfortunately it didn't work, so I am hoping to be able to replace the connection (mine has a couple rounded edges, but is still workable). I suspect the ferrule is worn out. I am going to replacethe ferrule, but will probably need to cut the line to get it off. Thought I would replace the connector while I was at it.

Check with Gordon Imports one more time and ask for the entire fuel line
as the connector will come with it.
